Mallikarjun Kharge
Leader of the Opposition
A seasoned politician from Karnataka who had won nine consecutive assembly elections in his home state before winning the parliamentary polls, Malikarjun Kharge is at present the leader of the Opposition Congress party in Lok Sabha. The 74-year-old leader was the railway minister in the previous UPA government led by Manmohan Singh.
