Sampooran Singh Kalra, better known by his pen name Gulzar, is one of the great lyricist-poets of our times. Gulzar has also been a film-maker of repute who has directed movies like Aandhi and Mausam. The 83-year-old writer is a recipient of many awards, including Padma Bhushan, Dadasaheb Phalke , Academy and Grammy awards.
