One of the greatest athletes India has ever produced, P T Usha may have missed an Olympic medal by 1/100 of a second in Los Angeles but her achievements in the track and field events inspired generations of Indian girls. Nicknamed ‘Payyoli Express’, the 53-year-old sporting icon has dedicated her life to groom young athletes through her school in home state Kerala.
