Jyotirmaya Sharma is a professor of political science at the University of Hyderabad who has written several books, including Cosmic Love and Human Apathy: Swami Vivekananda’s Restatement of Religion, Hindutva: Exploring the Idea of Hindu Nationalism and Terryfying Vision: M S Gowalkar, the RSS and India. Over the years, he has been a Fellow at the Swedish Collegium for Advanced Study and other prestigious institutions abroad.
